Key Responsibilities
1) Corporate & Business Strategy
- Develop long-term strategic roadmaps for renewable power generation, storage, and integrated energy solutions.
- Support leadership in defining growth priorities, market entry strategies, and expansion plans.
- Conduct scenario planning and strategic forecasting for the evolving energy landscape.
2) Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Track global and domestic renewable energy trends, policies, and technologies.
- Perform competitor benchmarking and market sizing across solar, wind, storage, green hydrogen, and emerging energy technologies.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and investment areas.
3) Investment & Business Case Development
- Build financial models and techno-commercial business cases for new projects and acquisitions.
- Support M&A evaluations, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Prepare board-level presentations and investment memos.
4) Strategic Projects & Transformation
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives across engineering, finance, project development, and commercial teams.
- Drive strategic reviews and performance tracking of key RE programs.
- Translate strategy into actionable implementation roadmaps.
5) Stakeholder & Leadership Support
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategic decision-making.
- Prepare executive dashboards, insights, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, consultants, and partners.
Candidate Profile
Education
- MBA/PGDM from Tier-1 / Premium B-Schools (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR, etc.)
- Engineering background preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
- 26 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, energy consulting, investment banking, or renewable energy.
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, utilities, or sustainability sectors is highly desirable.
