Strategist cum Planner
Role Overview
The Strategist cum Planner is responsible for turning business problems into clear, insight-driven marketing strategies. This role bridges research, creativity, and execution by identifying consumer insights, defining brand positioning, and shaping campaign directions across ATL, BTL, digital, and experiential platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Thinking & Planning
- Understand client business challenges and translate them into strategic opportunities
- Develop campaign strategies, brand positioning, and communication frameworks
- Define clear objectives, target audience, and messaging direction
Consumer & Market Insights
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend mapping
- Identify cultural insights, consumer behavior patterns, and regional nuances (especially relevant for Kerala market)
- Convert data and observations into actionable insights
Creative Briefing
- Create sharp, inspiring briefs for creative teams
- Collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, and production teams
- Ensure creative output aligns with strategy and brand objectives
Campaign Development
- Contribute to ideation of campaigns, activations, and brand experiences
- Ensure integration across ATL, BTL, digital, and on-ground experiences
- Bring fresh thinking and innovative formats to campaigns
Presentation & Storytelling
- Build compelling strategy decks and pitch presentations
- Clearly articulate ideas, insights, and rationale to clients and internal teams
- Support business development with strategic inputs

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field
- 3–6+ years experience in strategy/planning role within an agency or brand
- Experience in integrated campaigns (ATL, BTL, digital, experiential) preferred
