Support the local Category Management team to Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies.
Formulate and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with Hitachi Energys business objectives and sustainability goals.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, risk mitigation, and process optimization through strategic sourcing initiatives.
Support the local NAM team in Supplier Identification, Registration and Evaluation.
Conduct market research and supplier assessments to identify and qualify potential suppliers, ensuring they meet Hitachi Energys quality and sustainability standards.
Evaluate supplier performance and capabilities and establish long-term partnerships with key suppliers.
Support the local NAM team in Negotiations and Contract Management.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements in terms of pricing, quality, delivery, and contractual terms.
Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energys policies and legal standards.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, production, sales, and tendering teams, to understand and address procurement needs.
Provide expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams in supplier selection, contract management, and procurement best practices.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all sourcing activities.

Your background:
Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or a related field.
Must have 5 years experience.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence and build productive relationships.
Proficiency in procurement tools, contract management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles, strategic sourcing methodologies, and market analysis.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, demonstrate initiative, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
