Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement activities for assigned categories, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure efficient sourcing and reliable delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers.
- Manage the procurement lifecycle including RFP issuance, supplier negotiations, contract finalization, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Support and drive cost-saving initiatives through sourcing optimization and supplier consolidation.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and budgetary guidelines.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for direct materials to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity.
- Design and execute RFPs, benchmark contracts, and participate in commercial negotiations.
- Apply advanced analytics to uncover sourcing trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and present insights, recommendations, and sourcing strategies to senior management and executive stakeholders.
- Negotiate global and regional supplier contracts to achieve favorable commercial terms and service level agreements.
Skills Required:
- Strong experience in procurement and strategic sourcing across direct and indirect spend categories.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business and procurement objectives.
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end RFP processes, including supplier evaluation and negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of supplier relationship management and contract negotiation practices.
- Experience conducting market research and benchmarking to identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities.
- Good understanding of sourcing strategies for secondary packaging, primary packaging, and chemicals.
- Ability to drive cost reduction initiatives through supplier consolidation and process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SAP BI, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present insights to senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Education:Associate shall have the appropriate education and experience to successfully perform the responsibilities and activities of this role
