Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented US & Canada Payroll Analyst who will be responsible for executing payroll operations and supporting process delivery. The candidate should have good knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in the United States/Canada, with the ability to work under guidance and contribute to process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Process & Delivery Management
Understand client's US/Canada Payroll process and business rules. Execute payroll transactions accurately and within defined timelines. Handle routine payroll activities as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Seek guidance and escalate issues when encountering complex scenarios. Ensure high quality in written and verbal communication. Follow defined plans and schedules for assigned tasks. Adhere to LWI (Local Work Instructions) and process documentation. Support in maintaining and updating process documentation. Assist in identifying errors/issues and support root cause analysis. Suggest basic process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Applications Knowledge
Workflow management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) Payroll tools (e.g., Dayforce, ADP, Workday, SAP) Outlook / Group mailbox handling MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) SharePoint / Web-based tools
Team Support
Complete assigned work within timelines and quality standards. Support team members in resolving basic process queries. Collaborate effectively within the team. Be available to address process-related queries during working hours. Participate in team meetings and engagement activities. Follow QC and audit mechanisms defined for the process. Assist in knowledge sharing within the team.
Client Support
Update process reports and MIS on a regular basis. Adhere to client-specific requirements and SLAs. Support communication with onshore teams as required. Ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables. Maintain a customer-focused approach in all interactions. Follow up on assigned tasks to ensure closure. Participate in client calls when required and document notes.
