About Strategic Investments

Broadly look into all aspects of investments (non-treasury) for the Bank from a strategic perspective from initial identification of opportunities to actual investment being done to eventual exit from the investment. The role would include ongoing monitoring of the portfolio performance, identifying areas of synergies with investee companies coordinating with various businesses within the Bank
About the Role
We are looking for resources who have worked in banking projects mainly in the retail assets space. The concerned resources will be responsible for implementation of large scale transformation projects in the retail assets function The person will work closely with the Retail liabilities DVP and other teams to manage their implementation
Key Responsibilities
. Identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities including strategic rationale, valuation
. Preparing recommendation proposals for internal approvals
. Leading end-to-end process of negotiations / documentations for investments
. Regulatory filings and submissions
. Providing periodic updates on the investment portfolio to the management / Board
. Coordinating with investee companies on an ongoing basis for periodic updates

Qualifications
. Investment Banking / Corporate M&A preferably with BFSI / Fintech focus having 12-15 years experience
. Strong communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
