Job Purpose
The Strategic Executive Assistant to the Group CEO will act as a trusted partner and extended arm of the CEO, providing high-level strategic, operational, and governance support. The role goes beyond traditional EA responsibilities and involves driving strategic initiatives, cross-functional coordination, performance tracking, and leadership alignment across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Business Support
- Support the CEO in planning, monitoring, and executing group-level strategic initiatives.
- Track OKRs/KPIs, strategic priorities, and action items across business units.
- Prepare strategy decks, board presentations, business reviews, and CEO briefings.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to support decision-making.
Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and CXOs, business heads, subsidiaries, and external stakeholders.
- Drive follow-ups and ensure closure of decisions taken in leadership and board meetings.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment with CEO directives.
Governance & CEO Office Management
- Support Board Meetings, Audit Committee, and Leadership Reviews, including agendas, MOMs, and compliance tracking.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Maintain structured documentation and reporting for CEO office activities.
Executive & Operational Support
- Manage the CEO's calendar, priorities, travel, and communications strategically.
- Filter information, prioritize matters, and escalate critical issues proactively.
- Represent the CEO's office in meetings when required and provide summaries and insights.
