Role Description – Storyboard & Animatics Artist (Anime Style)

Remote | Full-Time | Monday to Friday

We're looking for a talented Storyboard & Animatics Artist to join our team and bring scripts to life—one minute at a time. You'll transform written scenes into visually compelling anime-style animatics using dynamic angles, smooth transitions, and emotional beats. Daily work involves collaborating with directors and writers, syncing visuals with audio, and delivering polished animatics on tight timelines.

What You'll Do

Translate scripts into engaging anime-style animatics

Design storyboards with cinematic framing and rhythm

Sync visuals with voiceovers and music cues

Collaborate with directors and writers on story flow

Adapt to feedback and maintain consistent creative output

Qualifications

Strong skills in storyboarding, camera work, and scene transitions

Proficiency in Storyboard Pro, Animate CC, or similar tools

Understanding of 2D animation principles and anime storytelling techniques

Ability to work with 12fps and 24fps workflows

Familiarity with anime expressions, chibi reactions, and emotional timing

Excellent communication and team collaboration

Degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred)

A solid portfolio and readiness to take a short skill test if shortlisted
