The
Storyboard Artist will be responsible for converting scripts, concepts, and creative briefs into detailed and engaging visual storyboards. The candidate should have strong visualization skills and a deep understanding of storytelling, camera angles, scene composition, and character expressions.
This role requires close collaboration with writers, animators, directors, and the creative team to ensure the story flow, continuity, and emotional impact are effectively represented before production begins.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert scripts and creative concepts into clear, visually engaging storyboards
- Plan shots, scenes, camera angles, movements, and transitions
- Illustrate character poses, expressions, actions, and emotional beats
- Develop scene continuity and visual flow for smooth storytelling
- Work closely with scriptwriters, animators, and directors
- Interpret feedback and revise storyboards as required
- Ensure visual consistency and alignment with project objectives
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Prepare rough sketches and detailed frames as per requirement
Required Candidate Profile
- Required 1-5 years of experience in the same domain.
- Strong drawing skills; good in composition, perspective anatomy.
- Visualize camera angles, timing pacing.
- Skilled in Storyboard Pro/Sketchbook.
- Detail-oriented with a strong storytelling sense.
