Relevant stores/ supply chain experience: 8 to 10 years
Current role: Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager/ Early stage Manager
Team handling: 3 to 10 people
Goals (0 to 12 month)
- Achieve 100% inventory accuracy (physical vs ERP) with zero reconciliation gaps
- Ensure zero line stoppage due to store/ material issues
- Reduce dead/ obsolete inventory by 75%
- Establish safe, compliant, and audit-ready warehouse operations (zero accidents)
- Build efficient inbound/ outbound flow aligned with production and dispatch
Milestones
- 0 to 30 days: Audit stock accuracy, bin systems, ERP gaps, and safety compliance
- 30 to 60 days: Fix binning, implement FIFO discipline & clean up mismatches
- 60 to 90 days: Stabilize inward/ outward processes & eliminate ad-hoc handling
- 90 to 180 days: Eliminate non-moving inventory and improve inventory turns
- 6 to 12 months: Fully controlled, audit-ready warehouse with predictable accuracy and flow
Measurement of success (KPIs)
- Inventory accuracy (physical vs ERP) target 100%
- Line stoppages due to stores target is zero
- Dead/ slow-moving inventory reduction (75%)
- Inventory turnover ratio
- Inward/ outward processing accuracy & TAT
- Safety compliance (zero incidents)
What candidate should bring to the table
- Strong inventory control & warehouse discipline (FIFO, bin management, traceability)
- Hands on experience with ERP and audit systems
- Ability to clean legacy data and bring control quickly
- Process mindset with SOP implementation & compliance rigor
- Experience in electronics/ EMS store environment & along with automation/ electrical distribution equipment would be given preference
- Ownership, accuracy focus, and ability to run a tight, zero-error operation
