This Position reports to:

Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager


Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role you will have the opportunity to [ conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line]. Each day, you will [ be responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines ]. You will also showcase your expertise by [ by performing other routine activities according to established procedures ]

This role is contributing to the Motion business based at Bangalore, India:

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Maintaining complete and accurate data in the ERP system.
  • Checking the quality of incoming goods for storage.
  • Ensuring daily contact with suppliers.
  • Participating in regular inventory control processes.

  • Develops and maintains departmental work instructions for all tasks.

  • Ensures set productivity and Key Performance Indicators.

  • Identify an implement digitalization activity at warehouse and factory.
  • Develop new ideas through continual improvement activities.

  • optimizes warehouse capacity, inventory and floor utilization. Recommends measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance.

  • Ensure timely support to factory feeding and to achieve monthly revenue targets.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • Bachelors or Diploma inEC, E & EEngineering .
  • Minimum4to5years of Warehouse & Internallogisticsoperation experience.
  • Ensures various warehousing operations includingInbound and Outbound activitiesexecuted in a safe,timelyand efficient manner.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Lean methodologies
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (ability to motivate, communicate with, inspire and pull together the people around them).
  • Knowledge of SAP system and Microsoft Office.
  • Problem solving, analytical, soft skills and effective communication.
  • Excellent communication skills in English
