We are seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to manage our inventory and ensure efficient store operations. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in storekeeping, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of inventory management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damages.
  • Maintain inventory records by tracking quantities and locations of goods.
  • Organize and store materials in designated storage areas.
  • Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Assist in managing stock control and inventory replenishment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in the storage area.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles related to inventory.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
