Description
We are seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to manage our inventory and ensure efficient store operations. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in storekeeping, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of inventory management processes.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damages.
- Maintain inventory records by tracking quantities and locations of goods.
- Organize and store materials in designated storage areas.
- Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Assist in managing stock control and inventory replenishment.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in the storage area.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles related to inventory.
