Position: Store Supervisor
Experience: 1 to 3 Years
Qualification: ITI / Graduate
Salary: Up to 3 Lakh Per Annum
Location: Sector 37, Gurugram
About the Role We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Supervisor for our client who deals in trading of fasteners and hand tools. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, inventory control, and ensuring proper handling and dispatch of materials.
Job RoleSupervise overall store and warehouse operations related to fasteners and hand tools .
- Handle receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials as per company procedures.
- Maintain proper inventory records, stock registers, and material documentation.
- Ensure correct material identification, labeling, stacking, and safe storage practices.
- Implement and monitor FIFO (First In First Out) and LIFO (Last In First Out) inventory methods as per product requirement.
- Coordinate with sales, purchase, and logistics teams for smooth dispatch and replenishment.
- Monitor stock levels, reorder requirements, and movement of fast-moving and slow-moving items.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Manage packing, loading, unloading, and dispatch activities to meet delivery timelines.
- Maintain store discipline, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
- Supervise and guide store helpers or warehouse staff for efficient workflow.
- Required SkillsKnowledge of storekeeping, inventory control, and warehouse processes.
- Understanding and practical knowledge of FIFO LIFO inventory management systems.
- Basic understanding of fasteners, hardware items, and hand tools will be an advantage.
- Ability to maintain stock data in registers, MS Excel, or ERP systems.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong coordination and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
- Basic computer knowledge and reporting skills.
- Team supervision and problem-solving capability.
