Position Overview
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving boutique profitability, operational excellence, and superior client engagement. The role requires a commercially driven retail leader with expertise in luxury sales, client relationship management, inventory control, team leadership, and boutique operations. You will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional luxury experience while ensuring business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Performance
• Drive boutique revenue growth through strategic sales planning and execution.
• Manage store performance against monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor key business metrics, maximize profitability, and optimize operational costs.
• Analyze sales trends and implement initiatives to improve business performance.
• Ensure achievement of revenue, conversion, and productivity KPIs.
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HNWIs, UHNWIs, celebrities, bridal clients, and premium luxury consumers.
• Deliver personalized shopping experiences that foster customer loyalty and repeat business.
• Develop clienteling initiatives to enhance customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
• Partner with marketing and CRM teams to strengthen customer acquisition and relationship-building initiatives.
Boutique Operations & Inventory Management
• Oversee daily boutique operations across luxury jewellery and couture fashion categories.
• Manage inventory, stock reconciliation, audits, replenishment, and security processes for high-value merchandise.
• Ensure accurate documentation, stock control, and adherence to operational standards.
• Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and boutique presentation standards.
• Ensure seamless coordination between sales, operations, and support functions.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative and customer-focused work environment.
• Drive team performance against individual and store KPIs.
• Develop succession plans and nurture future leaders within the boutique.
Security & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to security protocols for handling high-value merchandise, including jewellery and couture collections.
• Monitor inventory controls and risk management procedures.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable labour and retail regulations.
• Support internal audits and ensure operational best practices are consistently followed.
Candidate Requirements
Required Experience
• 6–9 years of experience in luxury retail with demonstrated success as a Store Manager, Boutique Manager, Retail Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Prior experience with luxury jewellery brands, couture fashion houses, designer boutiques, premium fashion brands, or high-end luxury retail environments.
• Proven experience engaging with HNWI and UHNWI clientele.
• Strong understanding of luxury client servicing, boutique operations, inventory management, and sales leadership.
• Experience handling high-value products and cultivating long-term relationships with premium clients.
Skills & Competencies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong client engagement, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in retail analytics, inventory management, financial reporting, and sales planning.
• Ability to interpret business data and make informed commercial decisions.
• Strong leadership, people management, and coaching capabilities.
• Professional presentation aligned with luxury retail service standards.
