Description

We are looking for a Store Keeper to manage inventory and maintain a well-organized storage facility for our retail store in Canada and Australia. The ideal candidate should have 2-10 years of experience in storekeeping and a strong understanding of inventory management principles.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and shelve incoming inventory items.
• Inspect and verify inventory items received against purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and returns.
• Monitor inventory levels and order new stock when necessary.
• Ensure the storage facility is clean, organized, and secure.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-10 years of experience in storekeeping or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and software.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or supply chain management is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
