Job Description
Department: Operations / Supply Chain/ Quick Comerce Role Overview: The Shift Incharge will be responsible for managing end-to-end dark store operations during the assigned shift.
This includes overseeing inventory, order fulfillment, team management, and ensuring smooth logistics operations while maintaining service levels and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Shift Operations Management: Handle complete dark store operations during the assigned shift. Ensure timely order picking, packing, and dispatch as per SLA. Monitor daily workflow and resolve operational bottlenecks.
Team Handling: Supervise and manage warehouse associates, pickers, and packers. Allocate tasks and ensure productivity targets are achieved. Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to company policies.
Inventory Management: Ensure inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock checks. Monitor inward and outward stock movement. Minimize shrinkage, damages, and discrepancies. Order Fulfillment & Dispatch: Ensure timely processing of orders with high accuracy. Coordinate with last-mile delivery teams for smooth dispatch. Track and reduce order errors, delays, and cancellations.
Process Compliance: Ensure SOP adherence across all operations. Maintain hygiene, safety, and security standards in the store. Follow all compliance guidelines and audit requirements.
Reporting & MIS: Maintain daily shift reports (attendance, productivity, order status). Share updates on key metrics such as fill rate, dispatch time, and shrinkage. Highlight issues and suggest improvements.
Coordination: Work closely with procurement, supply chain, and delivery teams. Ensure smooth communication between shifts during handover.
Key Skills Required: Strong leadership and team management skills Good knowledge of warehouse/dark store operations Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems Problem-solving and decision-making skills Good communication skills Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline (preferred)
