About Gigabox
Gigabox is a multi-category retail brand operating across both offline stores and a mobile app. We offer curated products in Kitchen, Sports, Bags, Gifts, Toys, and Electronics, with category-specific stores at premium and central city locations.
We have opened two stores in Jodhpur: Gigabox Sports and Gigabox Kitchen. As we expand, we're looking for strong leaders who can independently run each store as a high-performance business unit.
Role Overview
The Store Head will be responsible for the complete operations, performance, and growth of a Gigabox store. This includes team management, customer experience, inventory control, store SOPs, sales achievement, and maintaining brand standards.
This role demands a proactive leader who can think strategically, execute operationally, and bring a sense of ownership to the store.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Store Operations & Management
- Oversee end-to-end store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Implement and maintain store SOPs, processes, and systems.
- Ensure visual merchandising and store hygiene meet brand standards.
- Monitor daily KPIs and produce regular performance reports.
2. Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage store staff (sales, billing, stock, service teams).
- Build a strong team culture with clear responsibilities and accountability.
- Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Motivate staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional service.
3. Customer Experience
- Ensure a top-tier customer experience aligned with the Gigabox brand.
- Handle escalations, complaints, and customer-facing situations gracefully.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote loyalty.
4. Inventory & Procurement
- Oversee stock management including inward, outward, stock audits, and replenishment.
- Coordinate with vendors and central purchasing team to ensure optimal inventory.
- Identify fast-moving and slow-moving items and plan accordingly.
5. Sales & Business Growth
- Ensure monthly sales targets and category performance goals are met.
- Analyze sales trends and take corrective actions to boost store performance.
- Plan local promotions, in-store activities, and collaborations to increase footfall.
6. Compliance & Administration
- Ensure all store compliance, safety norms, and documentation are maintained.
- Manage store expenses, petty cash, and operational budgets.
- Coordinate with management for reports, updates, and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- MBA (mandatory) preferably in Retail Management, Operations, or Business Administration.
Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (Hindi & English).
- Experience in retail operations or store management preferred (not mandatory).
- Understanding of customer service, merchandising, marketing, and sales.
- Ability to multitask, make decisions, and take ownership.
- Familiarity with digital tools, POS systems, and mobile-app-based operations is a plus.
