Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Architect with strong expertise in Python scripting, advanced server/storage networking, and deep knowledge of SAN, FC, and FCoE protocols. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize enterprise storage solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance across diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise storage solutions across SAN, NAS, and cloud environments.
- Develop automation scripts using advanced Python programming for storage management and monitoring.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot controllers, drivers, and networking components.
- Design and support switching infrastructure with emphasis on Ethernet and SAN environments.
- Implement and manage multipath, RAID, and fiber channel operations.
- Provide end-to-end support for client servers, blades, and rack systems.
- Lead server testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Manage driver installation, updates, and compatibility testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align storage solutions with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Python scripting and advanced programming.
- Extensive experience in server/storage networking industry.
- Expertise in controllers, drivers, and networking components.
- Sound experience in switching technologies.
- Deep understanding of fiber channel operations, SAN, FC, and FCoE protocols.
- Hands-on experience with multipath, RAID, and enterprise storage systems.
- Proven track record supporting client servers, blades, and rack systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Ethernet and SAN environments.
- Experience in server testing, driver installation, and updates.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Relevant Storage, Network, or Server OS certifications (e.g., SNIA, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat).
