Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

· Lead, design, implement, and manage end-to-end infrastructure solutions across block, file, and object storage platforms and hands-on experience in enterprise storage technologies (EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage, etc.).

· provide L3-level support for SAN Storage environments, develop and maintain Low-Level Designs (LLDs), translate them into detailed implementation and deployment plan

· Strong knowledge of SAN/NAS protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB/CIFS).

· Expertise in backup and recovery tools (Commvault, Veeam, Veritas, etc.).

· Experience with cloud storage platforms (AWS S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage).

· Proficiency in storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.

· Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and container storage (Kubernetes, CSI)

.Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

· Mentorship & Documentation: Guiding L1/L2 teams, creating runbooks, technical documentation, and training materials.

· Execute and manage block-based and file-based data migrations using tools like UVM, NDM, or vendor-specific utilities.

· Infrastructure daily operations of storage systems, monitor performance, configure storage networks (Cisco, Broadcom/Brocade), and ensure data integrity and business continuity

Good-to-Have · Deep knowledge of storage protocols: iSCSI, Fibre Channel (FC), NFS, SMB and Zoning. · Experience with enterprise storage systems from NetApp, EMC,, Pure Storage,

1 At least 5 years of direct L3 NAS & SAN support experience, including replication management

2 Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents

3 Hands-on experience with storage solution design, migrations, backups, and operations
