Job Description Stock Audit Team Lead
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 34 years
Qualification: Graduate (B.Com preferred)
Industry: Outsourcing / Retail / Audit
Travel: Required within Mumbai for store visits
CTC Offered: 35 LPA
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical stock audits across designated stores within Mumbai.
- Verify stock levels, SKUs, damages, expiries, returns, and discrepancies.
- Review GRN, DO, sales, and inventory movement records.
- Identify gaps, shortages, or procedural non-compliances and document them.
- Prepare audit reports, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with store managers, warehouse teams, and finance teams for clarifications.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and audit checklists.
- Support cycle counts, periodic audits, and surprise checks when required.
- Maintain accurate records and highlight risk areas to the audit supervisor.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 23 years of hands-on experience in stock audits, retail audits, or inventory verification.
- Strong understanding of inventory processes, controls, and documentation.
- Good communication skills for interacting with store teams and clients.
- Strong Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Detail-oriented with an analytical approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple store audits.
- Willingness to travel across Mumbai as part of the role.
Education
- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent).
