Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
STIBO STEP Consultant to lead MDM rollout initiatives. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing Master Data Management solutions while ensuring high data quality, governance, and seamless integration across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end MDM STIBO STEP rollout projects
- Design architecture and solution framework for master data systems
- Drive master data migration ensuring accuracy and timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business and technical requirements
- Configure and implement STIBO STEP modules and workflows
- Manage integrations (Inbound/Outbound/Gateway) using REST, SOAP, IDOC
- Oversee data quality, governance, and validation processes
- Conduct solution reviews, testing, and impact assessments
- Lead project planning, resource allocation, and execution tracking
- Provide stakeholder updates (weekly/monthly reports)
- Mentor team members and ensure adherence to best practices
- Identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency
Must-Have Skills- Strong hands-on experience with STIBO STEP platform
- Expertise in STEP Data Modeling:
- Attributes, Attribute Groups
- Data Containers, References
- Experience in Web UI Configuration:
- Search screens, Sub-screens, Pop-ups
- Integration expertise:
- REST, SOAP, IDOC (Inbound/Outbound/Gateway)
- Knowledge of Business Rules (JavaScript/Rhino scripting):
- Business rules, actions, conditions
- Experience in STEP Workflow Configuration
- Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts
- Experience in data migration and data quality management
- Hands-on experience with:
- Java/J2EE or similar technologies
- SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience in data modeling and architecture design
- Exposure to Agile methodology
- Proven experience leading teams and managing projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
- System setup and user role/privilege configuration
- Packaging hierarchies and change packaging
- Bulk data updates and migration tools
- Export/Import configurations
- XSL transformations and STEP XML creation
- Golden record management (matching & linking)
- Experience with STEP API & Extension API
- Exposure to manufacturing or automotive domain
- Experience in training users and conducting workshops
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field
- MBA (preferred but not mandatory)
