Steward

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Steward located in Mumbai. The Steward will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Key responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, maintaining stock of cleaning supplies, assisting in food preparation tasks, and adhering to health and safety regulations. The Steward is also expected to support overall operations to ensure efficient service delivery.

• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and experience with cleaning kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Basic food handling and preparation skills, with adherence to health and safety standards.
• Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to support kitchen and service staff cohesively.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, such as lifting, bending, and long periods of standing.
• Previous experience in a similar role or background in food service is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
