Steward / captain

Description

We are seeking a dedicated Steward/Captain to join our team in India. This role is ideal for freshers or entry-level candidates who are passionate about the maritime industry and eager to build a career in ship operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers on board.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of ship operations during voyages.
• Supervise and train junior crew members in their duties and responsibilities.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the ship.
• Assist in the planning of itineraries and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage conflicts effectively.
• Knowledge of maritime safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Basic navigation and seamanship skills are preferred.
• Certifications in maritime operations or hospitality management are a plus.
