The STEM Program Co-Ordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape by fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration among students and staff. As a STEM Program Co-Ordinator Teacher, You Will

  • Collaborate with teachers across disciplines to integrate STEM concepts into their lesson plans, enhancing interdisciplinary learning.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and events that encourage student participation in STEM-related activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in STEM subjects, providing feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Develop partnerships with local businesses and organizations to create real-world learning opportunities for students.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in STEM education, incorporating innovative practices into the curriculum.
  • Lead professional development sessions for faculty to enhance their understanding and teaching of STEM subjects.
  • Encourage a growth mindset among students, fostering resilience and a passion for inquiry and exploration.
  • Manage resources and materials for the STEM program, ensuring accessibility and sustainability.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM fields, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in teaching STEM subjects, preferably within a CBSE curriculum framework.
  • Strong understanding of pedagogical strategies that promote active learning and student engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
