We are seeking a skilled Static Equipment Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and analysis of static equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and contributing to the successful execution of engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze static equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers.
- Perform stress analysis and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of static equipment in overall project design.
- Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications related to static equipment.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of existing equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards.
- Provide technical support during the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of static equipment.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in static equipment design and analysis.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of pressure vessel design codes (ASME, API) and standards.
- Familiarity with material selection and corrosion engineering.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
