The State Head - NR Relationship is a senior leadership role, typically within a bank, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the non-resident (NR) customer business across a designated state or region. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Formulating and executing action plans in line with zonal and company-wide strategies for the non-resident business.
- Business Growth: Driving sales and business development initiatives to achieve defined targets across various banking, wealth management, and asset products (e.g., liabilities, new acquisitions, fees).
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with high-net-worth (HNI) and super-HNI non-resident clients, ensuring high client engagement and retention.
- Team Management: Leading, managing, mentoring, and motivating a team of Area Heads and Relationship Managers, setting targets, tracking performance, and ensuring ongoing training and development.
- Compliance and Operations: Overseeing key operations within the state to ensure adherence to all bank policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
- Customer Service: Ensuring the delivery of superior customer service, addressing client concerns, and optimizing service efficiency and quality across the branch network.
- Market Analysis: Studying competitors, performing product benchmarking, and adapting national strategies to meet specific local market needs and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and government officials.
