About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic State Head to lead and oversee Cyfuture's projects with Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited (UGVCL) and Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL). The role demands strategic leadership, operational oversight, and seamless coordination with multiple project teams, including Project Heads, Field Response Teams (FRTs), and senior government officials.

As the State Head, you will play a critical role in ensuring project success, aligning operations with state objectives, and driving high-impact outcomes in the power transmission and distribution sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to Project Heads managing UGVCL and DGVCL assignments.
• Establish strong working relationships with state government departments, senior officials, and FRTs to facilitate project execution.
• Monitor project performance, timelines, and deliverables across both regions, ensuring alignment with state utility goals.
• Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
• Oversee compliance with regulatory standards, contractual obligations, and technical specifications.
• Represent Cyfuture in high-level discussions with government stakeholders, ensuring transparency and trust.
• Lead risk management efforts, ensuring continuity and mitigation strategies are in place for critical operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) sector, preferably in leadership roles involving public sector collaborations.
• Proven experience working with state electricity boards, DISCOMs, or power utilities in Gujarat or other Indian states.
• In-depth understanding of Field Response Team (FRT) functions, network operations, and state-level infrastructure deployment.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and interdepartmental coordination skills.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and negotiation abilities.
