About the Role
The
State Head-Consumer Durable Loan Open Market is responsible for scaling the lending business across the state by expanding product offerings, customer segments, and distribution channels. This leadership role focuses on delivering banking solutions in a cost-efficient and technology-driven manner. The role involves building high-performing teams, establishing robust systems and processes, and fostering a culture of excellence. The State Head will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Operations, Credit, IT, and BIU to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction, positioning IDFC FIRST Bank as the primary banking partner.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the Consumer Durable loan business across the state to drive revenue growth and customer engagement.
- Guide the distribution of cross-sell products to achieve volume targets and portfolio expansion.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key dealers, OEMs, and channel/product partners to increase portfolio reach.
- Monitor portfolio performance and quality, providing actionable insights and recommendations to Product and Sales teams.
- Collaborate with the Product team and Marketing team to develop differentiated offerings in the Consumer Durable Loan category.
- Work with the Business Analytics team to identify cross-sell opportunities and optimize customer engagement.
- Work closely with Collection team to reduce net credit loss and delinquency rates.
- Provide regular feedback to Relationship Managers on customer opportunities and requirements.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies across all business activities.
- Drive initiatives focused on automation and digital enablement to enhance customer experience.
- Recommend process and policy improvements to boost operational efficiency and service quality.
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity.

What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduate in any discipline (Full-time).
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM Full-time)
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail banking, preferably in lending and leadership roles.
Skills and Attributes

- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
