Startup Scout Intern (Remote)
As a Startup Scout Intern, you will be the eyes and ears of our firm, identifying, early stage companies that are actively seeking or preparing to raise capital. This role is perfect for someone who is obsessed with the startup ecosystem, enjoys networking, and wants to learn the mechanics of venture capital and deal sourcing.
This is a 6 month unpaid internship designed for anyone to give a deep dive into how investors evaluate businesses and how founders prepare for funding rounds.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Deal Sourcing: Proactively identify and reach out to founders of early stage startups across various industries.
2. Pipeline Management: Research and track startups using platforms like LinkedIn and other platforms.
3. Connecting: Connect with the founder and collect the requested information like Startup stage, Pitchdeck, founder's background, previous rounds of investment, etc
4. Reporting: Share the details with you person alloted to you.
Core Requirements & Goals :-
1. Minimum Output: Successfully source and introduce at least 2 high quality startups per month that are actively looking to raise capital.
2. Duration: 6 months.
3. Self-Starter: The ability to work independently and manage your own research schedule.
