ROLE OVERVIEW :

The Staff TPM will be the operational backbone of Ultraviolette's software organisation. You will own cross-domain program coordination across vehicle firmware, consumer apps, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML features, OTA, fleet telematics, manufacturing software, enterprise systems, and field reliability. You will build the team, set the processes, and ensure every software release and implementation lands on time and with quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Own the software program roadmap across all domains vehicle software, app, cloud, OTA, fleet, manufacturing tools, enterprise systems, and field reliability

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Technical Program Managers

Drive cross-functional alignment across Embedded, Cloud, App, AI/ML, Hardware, Enterprise IT, and Quality teams

Define and institutionalise program management processes: sprint governance, release cadences, risk management, and escalation frameworks

Own executive-level reporting: weekly status, quarterly roadmap reviews, and launch readiness gates

Partner with the VP of Engineering and Product leadership to prioritise the software portfolio against business goals

Identify and resolve systemic blockers that cut across team boundaries

Drive post-launch retrospectives and continuous improvement loops across the TPM team

Own the integration of firmware, OTA, app, and enterprise release timelines into unified launch plans

Ensure the field reliability feedback loop is structurally embedded into firmware and software planning cycles.

REQUIREMENTS

10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Engineering, with at least 3 years managing other PMs or TPMs

Proven experience shipping complex software products across embedded, cloud, and consumer domains

Strong technical depth ability to engage credibly with firmware engineers, backend architects, app developers, and enterprise system teams

Experience in the automotive, IoT, or consumer electronics space preferred

Strong command of program management tools: Jira, Confluence, or equivalent

Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influence skills

Experience building PM/TPM teams from the ground up is a strong plus

B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field; MBA is a plus

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with AUTOSAR, CAN bus, or automotive software standards

Familiarity with OTA deployment pipelines and release management

Background in electric vehicles, robotics, or deep-tech hardware companies

Exposure to enterprise SaaS implementations (CRM, DMS, ERP)
