SVT team is responsible for validation of all GX product portfolio before release to customers. SVT team is also responsible for filling defects for noncompliance, tracking and validating defects. SVT team measures various data needed for customer RFPs and presents the same to required teams post SVT.

• 6+ years of experience in testing/Automation in one or more of the following areas.
• Testing Optical Networks (SONET/SDH/OTN/DWDM) systems in a product development environment and expertise in relevant standards.
• Testing of ROADM, Optical amplifier line cards
• A foundation of expertise in optical and software design for optical components that fit into a network node
• Experience in Testing FCAPS, Provisioning & configuration and protection schemes
• Experience in use of Test-set, OSA test equipment s.
• Programming/Scripting Skills: Python or any other scripting language
• Experience in system testing across multiple releases of a product line
• Review System & Product Requirements and develop comprehensive solution test plan to validate customer use-cases
• Experience in manual testing is essential
• Ability to develop cross-functional feature test scripts based on system requirements and Test plans
• Expertise in test case Automation and Script/Suite execution.
• Experience in Automation framework development/maintenance.
• Work with System Engineering on Requirements Review, Definition and Test plan reviews
• Work with Test/Design/Architecture team in understanding the feature implementation
• Provide detailed reports of test execution, defect analysis
• Prepare SVT test plan based on customer deployments, standard compliance and requirements
• Execute SVT test cases
• File bug report, tracking bugs and verify bugs
• Use tools for repetitive tasks like soak test, high iteration test , configuration etc
• Provide reports for security scans, RFC test etc
• Prepare feature certification report after SVT is complete and review with stake holders
