Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Staff Nurse located at SP Medifort Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring and managing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, educating patients and their families on health management, and adhering to hospital guidelines and standards of care.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in patient care, wound management, and medication administration
• Well-versed in monitoring patient vitals, operating medical equipment, and managing emergency situations
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and provide patient education
• Knowledge of infection control protocols, hygiene standards, and patient safety practices
• Relevant nursing certification or degree, and valid nursing license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and demonstrate compassion and professionalism
• Experience in critical care or specialized nursing areas is an advantage
