Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Staff Nurse - OT/NICU at Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited, located in Bengaluru. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Operating Theatre (OT) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Daily tasks include preparing the OT and NICU for surgical and medical procedures, assisting during surgeries, monitoring patient vitals, providing post-operative care, administering medications, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The role requires strict adherence to medical protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
  • Nursing diploma or degree from a recognized institution
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Experience in OT and NICU settings
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and neonatal care
  • Excellent patient care and monitoring skills
  • Ability to handle medical equipment and administer medications accurately
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow medical protocols
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and in shifts
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are a plus
