Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse with experience in Ophthalmology to assist in both Outpatient Department (OPD) and Operation Theatre (OT). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ophthalmic procedures, strong clinical knowledge, and a patient-centric approach in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist ophthalmologists during OPD consultations and diagnostic procedures
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and surgeries
- Support ophthalmic surgeries in OT (scrubbing, circulating, instrument handling)
- Ensure strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols
- Handle ophthalmic instruments and equipment efficiently
- Administer medications and eye drops as prescribed
- Monitor patients before and after procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on post-operative care and recovery
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff for smooth workflow
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing / PB B.Sc Nursing
- Registration: Valid Nursing Registration (Delhi Nursing Council preferred)
- Experience: 1–3 years in an Ophthalmology setup (OPD/OT)
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and instruments
