Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients preoperatively and determine appropriate anesthesia plans
- Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia as per clinical requirements
- Monitor patient vitals and manage anesthesia-related complications intraoperatively
- Provide post-operative care and pain management
- Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and other specialists to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed anesthesia records and documentation
- Participate in ICU, emergency care, and code blue situations when required
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and medical protocols
- Mentor junior medical staff and participate in clinical audits or CMEs
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: MBBS with MD/DNB/Diploma in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution
- Experience: 3 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in anesthesia practice in reputed hospitals
- Valid registration with Medical Council
