Staff, Network Engineer

Responsibilities

Network Security Design & Implementation

• Design and implement perimeter security policies using Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) technologies.
• Work with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco firewalls, Cisco ISE, SD-WAN, ZTNA, Tipping Point, and wireless security systems.
• Ensure secure integration of new systems and applications into existing infrastructure.

Security Operations & Support

• Support decommissioning and migration of legacy security environments.
• Participate in incident response, change management, and on-call rotation.
• Assist in vulnerability mitigation and risk reduction activities.

Policy, Documentation & Compliance

• Develop and maintain security architecture documentation.
• Document policies, procedures, and operational security standards.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS security requirements and monitoring standards.

Automation & Engineering Efficiency

• Develop automation scripts using Python or Ansible to improve operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain automated alerts, dashboards, and monitoring systems.
• Contribute to security process optimization using scripting and tooling.

Integration & Advanced Security Systems

• Integrate security tools such as DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and CASB into enterprise environments.
• Work with identity and access governance frameworks.
• Support tools such as F5, Proxy systems, Proofpoint (preferred exposure).

Network & Threat Management

• Understand TCP/IP protocols, network flows, segmentation, and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify security threats.
• Support wireless and enterprise network protection strategies.
