Position Title: Sr. Supervisor/ Junior Engineer (Mechanical-Auto-garage)

Location: Sarlanagar Cement Works, Sedam

Professional Qualifications:

Essential: ITI / Diploma mechanical

Preferably: ITI

JOB PROFILE

Supervise daily maintenance and repair of:

Dozers, Loaders, Hydra cranes, DG sets, TATA Hitachi EX70 And Tata JD315

Plan preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules

Monitor equipment health and ensure minimum downtime

Lead and guide technicians and operators

Maintain maintenance records and reports

Ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements

Support audits (safety, external, internal)

Support Equipment:

Sweeping Machines, IVC Machines & Field Maintenance Activities

KRA 1: Skills & Competencies

Strong technical knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment

Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Team handling and leadership

Planning and scheduling

Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reporting)

Safety awareness and compliance

KRA 2: Breakdown Maintenance.

Lead major breakdown repairs of engines, transmission, braking and air systems.

Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for critical repairs and overhauls.

KRA 3:Safety, Compliance.

Ensure 100% compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and statutory norms.

Implement safe work practices, LOTO, and permit-to-work systems.

Maintain standards in maintenance and repair work.

KRA 4: Spares, Vendor & CPD Coordination

Plan spares inventory, PR generation.

Coordinate vendor inspections, AMC renewals, and repair contracts.

Ensure cost control and optimization of maintenance expenditure.
