About The Role

  • Lead and manage multiple high-impact, visible programs with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive projects through Harman's corporate product development lifecycle (PLM), adhering to BMS and PLM100 best practices.
  • Facilitate timely decision-making by fostering team consensus and escalating when necessary.
  • Engage directly with customers in technical discussions to promote product understanding and acceptance.
  • Oversee program and project budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and progress.
  • Set clear performance goals around timelines, customer satisfaction, and quality, and lead teams to achieve them.
  • Coordinate across internal teams including Software Domain, B&I/Testing, CPM, CAM, and others.

What You Will Do

  • Organize and lead meetings, workshops, demos, and review sessions.
  • Negotiate resource allocation and resolve conflicts with functional leaders and other program managers.
  • Act as the primary interface with customers, including during early engagement phases.
  • Identify and resolve program risks early, escalating with proposed solutions when necessary.
  • Audit project progress and flag any major deviations from the plan.
  • Advocate and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Translate customer needs into strategic input for the product roadmap.
  • Contribute to global business development efforts, including RFx activities for regional customers.

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Master's degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 16+ years of professional experience, with at least 8 years in automotive program development and end-to-end delivery at a Tier-1 or OEM.
  • Strong project planning and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven track record in building trust and credibility with customers.
  • Solid understanding of automotive electronics systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development practices.
  • In-depth experience in automotive electronic product development.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
