Job Duties and Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities :

. Troubleshoot AWS production Network connectivity problems spanning multiple VPCs,
TGW, DXGW etc using Flow logs, cloud watch, R53 analysis, Flow monitor etc., create RCA
documentation and drive problem tasks to prevent recurrence
. Expert experience working with AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, SG, Routing,
Prefix list, T-GW routing, EKS Networking, AWS VPN etc.
. Creation of VPC, Subnet, Route Tables, Security Groups, Prefix lists, T-GW etc.
. Creation of the above using Cloud formation template, JSON, YAML files etc. or other tools.
. Understand Complex architecture, Identify Security Group, Prefix or routing issues and be
able to fix them in war room situations to avoid customer impact.
. Good Networking knowledge of Ips, CIDR blocks, IP planning and distribution.
. Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, T-GW, RDS, Prefix list, Route53 & S3),
Transit Gateway attachments, AWS Local zone.
. Working experience resolving EKS related networking issues, MULTUS, VPC CNI etc..
. Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing
environments
. Leading highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
. Large scale migration experience Data Center to Data Center and/or Data Center to Cloud
. Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, Ruby, Powershell)
. Configuration management using CloudFormation, Chef & Puppet
. Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or
Virtualized environment
. Experience managing data center operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting
and notifications
. Expertise in Linux based distros, and solid understanding of backup and restore
technologies, Big Data Platforms, Analytics.
. Extensive experience with cloud native orchestration using Kubernetes and containerized
applications using docker
. Experience with observability products (such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc

. This person will also be responsible for owning the process, leading RCA activities, drive
visibility, resolution and reporting for chronic & risk exception issues ensuring all tasks are
tracked to completion.
. Experience troubleshooting of 4G, 5G, and VoLTE, VoNR would be a plus
. Experience working in an operations or customer experience role
. Engage and escalate issues with the Tier II & III teams when critical/time sensitive support
and resolution is needed
. Timely, Professional response to emails, phone calls, executive notifications through routine
and extended service impacting events.
. Work with the team with the development of a Network Operations strategy that includes
KPI and SLA management, organizational structure, fault/alarm management, performance
management, tool.
. Should have worked on Prod Environment mandatory
. Preferred Certification - AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Required Qualifications

. Bachelors in a technical discipline such as Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
. 6 to 10 years of related, hands-on experience in AWS Networking production support
. AWS Certification & Networking Background. CCNA or CCNP.
. Knowledge and experience in developing/deploying cloud native micro-services in
Kubernetes is a plus.
. Telecom background of 4G and 5G is a plus.
. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentations skills.
