We are looking for a highly skilled CloudOps Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions that ensure scalability, reliability, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), DevOps practices, automation frameworks, and site reliability engineering principles. This role requires a blend of technical architecture, solution design, hands-on engineering, and strong stakeholder collaboration.
The Core Responsibilities For The Job Include The Following
Cloud Architecture and Solution Design:
- Design end-to-end cloud architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Develop scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.
- Define cloud adoption frameworks and best practices for workloads and applications.
- Lead architecture reviews, risk assessments, and solution validations.
Cloud Operations And Reliability
- Implement CloudOps strategies, including automation, observability, performance tuning, and incident management.
- Drive operational excellence through standardized processes, tools, and automation.
- Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs across cloud workloads.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant designs.
DevOps, Automation, And Infrastructure As Code
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
- Develop IaC using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
- Champion containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE).
Security And Governance
- Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices, IAM governance, and policies.
- Implement guardrails, monitoring frameworks, and cost governance controls.
- Collaborate with security teams to perform threat modeling and risk mitigation.
Collaboration And Stakeholder Management
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and security teams.
- Present architecture recommendations to leadership and technical stakeholders.
- Mentor engineering teams on cloud best practices and CloudOps methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8-12+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, or CloudOps roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud services.
- Expertise in containers, Kubernetes, and microservices-based architecture.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, DNS, VPC, load balancing, etc.
- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, etc. )
- Proven experience driving reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.
Cloud Certifications
- AWS Solutions Architect (Pro/Associate).
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Google Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience implementing SRE principles.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cost-optimization strategies.
- Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
