Role Description

Precians Global is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Accountant – Associate Level professional with strong expertise in full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping for US-based clients. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in payroll processing, bank reconciliations, financial review, and month-end/year-end accounting activities across industries such as gas stations, hotels/motels, and restaurants.

The candidate must be comfortable working with US accounting standards, managing multiple client accounts, and using cloud-based accounting software efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-year accounting and bookkeeping for US clients.
• Perform day-to-day accounting operations including:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• General Ledger maintenance
• Journal entries
• Month-end and year-end closing
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records accurately.
• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Review financial statements and identify discrepancies or unusual transactions.
• Prepare management reports and support financial analysis.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting queries.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and client-specific accounting procedures.
• Support audit and tax preparation processes as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1.5-3 years of experience in US accounting and bookkeeping.
• Strong understanding of US accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience in:
• Full-cycle bookkeeping
• Payroll processing
• Bank reconciliation
• Financial review
• Industry experience preferred in:
• Gas Stations
• Hotels/Motels
• Restaurants
• Proficiency in accounting software:
• Xero
• QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Accounting CS
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with US CPA firms or outsourced accounting environments.
• Knowledge of sales tax, payroll tax, and financial cleanup projects.
• Familiarity with workflow management and accounting automation tools.
