Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant located in Mumbai. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Responsibilities will also include reconciling accounts, assisting in audits, preparing tax documents, and supporting budget planning and forecasting efforts. The position requires working closely with other teams to provide financial insights and ensure smooth operational workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial record-keeping, account reconciliations, and general accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, strong MS Excel skills, and the ability to analyze and present data effectively
• Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and preparation of financial statements
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CA certification is a plus
• Experience in the design, architecture, or similar sectors is an advantage
