SSIS Developer

The role involves monitoring , troubleshooting and maintain SSIS packages and ETL (Extract , Transform , Load ) workflows that are critical to business operations .

The ideal candidate should have strong debugging skills , a proactive attitude, and the ability to work on incident management under pressure .

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor production SSIS jobs and ETL pipelines to ensure timely completion .
• Investigate , troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to SSIS package .
• Provide L3 support by analyzing logs, debugging SQL queries, and identifying root causes.
• Perform impact analysis and recovery actions for failed jobs.
• Coordinate with development and other feature teams for bug fixes and enhancements when required .
• Maintain and update job schedules , error handling and retry mechanisms.
• Create and update Knowledge Base (KB) articles for common SSIS issues .
• Support incident management (Priority ticket handling ) and participate in post-incident reviews .
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and escalation protocols.
• Suggest automation opportunities to reduce manual monitoring efforts .
• Basic knowledge of project management tool . (Jira )

Required Skills :

• Strong understanding of SSIS architecture and package execution flow.
• Proficient in SQL server ability to debug queries and stored procedures .
• Experience in job scheduling
• Good understanding of ETL error handling and logging best practices
