Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, software engineering, and operational excellence. As an SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our services while collaborating with development teams to enhance system architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable systems to support high availability and performance.
- Monitor system health and performance using various tools and create dashboards for visibility.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system architecture and resolve performance issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident management processes to ensure system reliability.
- Conduct postmortems and root cause analysis for incidents to prevent future occurrences.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related roles.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) and logging systems (ELK stack).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
