Area(s) of responsibility
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise the ABAP development team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely delivery.
- Design & Development: Architect and develop complex custom objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows - RICEFW).
- Modernization: Drive adoption of S/4HANA technologies like CDS Views, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), and Fiori/SAPUI5.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical knowledge in specific modules (e.g., ABAP, S/4HANA, FICO, SD, MM) and integration points
- Quality & Performance: Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, unit testing, and ensure adherence to SAP coding standards and security.
- Support: Act as an escalation point for technical issues and support cutover/go-live activities.
- Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions.
