Manage and maintain high availability database architectures including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Oracle GoldenGate, and PostgreSQL replication to ensure maximum uptime and system reliability.
Provide technical guidance to the database team for database administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Manage production database operations, ensuring system stability, performance optimization, and adherence to SLA requirements.
Plan and execute database upgrades, patching, migrations, and disaster recovery strategies while minimizing downtime and operational risks.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to design database solutions aligned with business and application requirements.
Lead incident management and root cause analysis (RCA) for critical database issues and implement preventive measures.
Ensure database security, compliance, backup, and recovery mechanisms are implemented to safeguard data and maintain business continuity.
Drive automation, monitoring improvements, and operational best practices to enhance database reliability and efficiency.
