Sr. System Thermal Engineer

Job Description :

The candidate will be part of the data centre group at MediaTek. In this role, the thermal designer will assist the technology development team in evaluating multiple new technologies across packaging/ IP and power delivery. They will also work with the board team to design thermal solutions for validation designs and test vehicles. In addition, the engineer will be responsible to design and develop package level cooling technologies for future products.

Job Requirement:

. Strong background in heat transfer fundamentals . Experience in thermal solution design of electronics packages . Knowledge in cooling solutions used in racks - Air cooling/ Hybrid/ Liquid cooling . Desire to be able to independently handle basic CAE modelling . Experienced user of simulation tools - Flotherm/ IcePak/ Ansys Simcentre . Must have good communication & problem-solving skills . Preferred candidate will have around 10 - 15 years of relevant experience
