SR SW SYSTEMS ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled DevOps / Build & Release Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and optimize cloud infrastructure for modern microservices-based applications. The role focuses on automation, build processes, containerized deployments, and ensuring best practices in quality and security across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and related tools.
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including EC2, ECR, and networking components for build environments.
• Develop and maintain build processes using tools like Gradle, npm, Maven, Go, Make.
• Automate microservices packaging and deployment using Docker, and monitor deployments with Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain quality and security best practices in DevOps environments.
• Maintain static code analysis tools like SonarQube, Coverity and integrate unit test coverage into CI pipelines.
• Manage project artifacts using JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, Google Artifact Registry, and maintain Git repository version control best practices.
• Identify and drive automation opportunities in continuous integration to improve efficiency, speed, and adherence to industry best practices.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in build and release engineering or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub version control, workflow automation, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with build tools such as Gradle, Maven, npm, Go and scripting in Python, Bash, Groovy.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and debugging Java stack traces.
• Experience with deployment automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Kubeflow, Argo.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and ability to work in distributed teams across multiple time zones.
