Job Description

Seeking an Application Support Engineer with experience in L2/L3 support and software development. The role involves coding, debugging, and automating support functions while managing support tickets and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 application support.
Code in Java or similar languages for debugging and updates.
Write scripts for debugging and automating repeat issues.
Communicate clearly and empathetically with stakeholders.
Identify corner cases and add validations to enhance problem-solving.
Manage support tickets using tools like Gitlab and JIRA.

Requirements

Requirements:

Level L2, L3 Application Support experience preferably in 3-10 years range.

Key criteria:

Bachelor's degree (U.S. or equivalent) and 3+ years of software development experience.

Must be comfortable coding in Java or similar programming language, debugging, writing quality-of-life snippets, writing scripts for debugging and updates and familiarity with Linux bash scripting..

Must be clear, empathetic communicator.

Must be willing to execute on support issues while also building out the function and automating repeat issues.

Ability to identify corner cases, add validations will help us understand problem solving ability.

Knowledge of standard support ticketing, prioritization and SDLC processes and tools Gitlab, incident management, JIRA etc.
