We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Staff Video Codec Systems Engineer to join our team in India. This role involves designing and optimizing video codec algorithms for high-performance applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying abreast of the latest advancements in video processing technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and develop video codec algorithms for real-time applications.
Optimize video processing for performance and quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate codecs into various platforms.
Conduct performance analysis and benchmarking of video codecs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to video encoding and decoding.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in video processing and compression.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in video codec development and optimization.
Strong understanding of video compression standards (H.264, H.265, AV1, etc.).
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
Experience with software development tools and version control systems (Git).
Familiarity with hardware acceleration for video processing (e.g., GPUs, DSPs).
Knowledge of video streaming protocols and multimedia frameworks (FFmpeg, GStreamer).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
